Bratislava, April 25, 2006 - The office of International organization for Migration (IOM) in Slovakia has opened its Migration Information Centre in the capital Bratislava. It is the first centre of its kind in Slovakia and it will provide advice and help to foreigners who have settled or wish to settle and work in the country. |

Bratislava, October 4, 2006 - Since this October, IOM's Migration Information Centre in Slovakia financially supports foreigners who want to take educational and re-qualification courses. The Centre also organizes a series of discussion meetings with the public, about the life of migrants in Slovakia. |

Bratislava, April 24, 2007 - In the first year of its existence, the IOM Migration Information Centre gave help to more than 220 migrants in Slovakia. Until today, fifteen clients used MIC's support for education and re-qualification. |
