The IOM Migration Information Center cooperates with the communities of migrants, state institutions and non-governmental organizations dealing to some extent with migration-related issues, social inclusion, facilitation of employment and integration in general on the national, European and international levels.

The main aim for this cooperation is to actively participate in the creation of migration and integration policy of the SR, and to propose actions related to the improvement of migrants into the Slovak society.

Discussions meetings with the migrants and the local public are aimed to inform local communities about the culture, the way of life and the needs of the migrants and actively help to break down the prejudices and xenophobia.
