In general, foreign nationals from countries outside the EU/EEA almost always need a work permit. To find out if you need a work permit, see article Who needs a Work Permit and who does not.
If you need a work permit, you may start working only after you have been granted a work permit and a temporary residence permit for the purpose of employment. If you do not need a work permit, you may start working only after you have been granted a temporary residence permit for the purpose of employment, or another type of residence permit.
